Last night after hitting a couple of night spots, "the kids" came back around midnight. By then Helen had gone to bed and Rick and I were minding Makai who slept the whole time they were gone except for the short time it took for him to down three and half ounces of milk. We all fell into bed when we got back to the motorhome and were in no hurry to wake up this morning.

Last night we had decided to venture into downtown Vancouver this afternoon for Bill and Laura's last day here. Makai, almost overnight, has outgrown his "size 1-2" diapers and Karley called me this morning before we headed out to see if we could pick up some new, larger ones at Costco. When we arrived at the house, they were just returning from a walk with him while Helen stayed home waiting for us. We all piled into two vehicles and headed to the Pacific Centre downtown to park. With the sunshine, blue skies and 17C forecast, the shoppers were out in droves so it was a great opportunity for us to shop and people-watch.

Everyone bought something new and then we enjoyed a sushi lunch, something Helen had never had before. After a lot of walking again, we all were exhausted and made our way back to the house. Bill and Laura are leaving tomorrow and have some packing to do and Karley, Ian and Helen are tired so we decided to forgo a dinner out. Instead we walked up to the drive for a gelato treat and then headed back to the motorhome. Rick recorded today's NASCAR race so while Bill and Laura pack, they will be able to watch it with him. We packed a lot of sightseeing into a short time but we all have had a great time and we will be sad to say goodbye. The next time we see Bill and Laura again it will be May in Ontario and we will be the visitors.
