A Quiet Day PDF Print E-mail

Today was a quiet day for us. We went to Costco this morning to get some Vitamin C, glucosamine sulphate and MSM, herbal supplements we were running short of. We had planned on going to South Beach and Miami Beach today, but there is a huge in-water boat show in progress and the traffic was horrendous.Frown We sat in traffic forever and went nowhere, so we headed back to the campground.

We had ordered a hitch for the Jetta that will allow us to put the bikes on the back of the car instead of the motorhome and with luck it would be here today. That way we can take our bicycles to the array of public bike trails around the various cities and towns we stay in when we are not near enough to get to them directly from our site.

Sure enough, it has arrived and Rick installed it tonight. It's kind of funny, whenever a man starts working with tools; they act as a homing device for every handyman within a mile radius. Before he even got started, there was a gathering of helpful men here to assist him. This was a good thing because he needed a drill that a kind man from Ottawa was able to provide. Tomorrow, we are going to put our bikes on the carrier on the back of the car and explore Key Biscayne.
