Around here that title applies to a lot of things. First of all since we arrived here last month the park has steadily begun to fill up with snowbirds arriving daily; some for the winter and some for a week or two until they go to their next destination. Row by row, site by site, Catalina Spa and RV Park is getting more and more populated and there are many familiar faces. The volunteer staff has been increasing week by week and at last night’s dinner there were over 100 people in attendance.

Our RV site overlooks a stocked fishing pond which sits beside the pickle ball and tennis courts. When we first arrived several mornings a week we would here the familiar “plonk, plonk, plonk” of the pickle ball being volleyed back and forth. This would last for maybe an hour, two at the most. Now the pickle ball sound starts earlier and goes on for three, four and sometimes even five hours every day. Evidently the arriving snowbirds are avid “pickle-ballers” as well!

Lastly in October we noticed the odd little bunny hopping around the park but they have been increasing, like rabbits do, and now there are several of them all over the park. Perhaps that would account for the late night yipping of coyotes evidently being enticed by the potential meals on this side of the wall! Yup, things are definitely multiplying!
