mar 31a-07.jpgOur last day at Catalina Spa has been another busy one. It started with us enjoying a breakfast in the clubhouse (the volunteers put on a breakfast every Saturday and today was the last one for the season), a perfect way to get energized for what we had in store. Rick put away our golf cart along with several items that we only use here and then using the park’s Bobcat, he moved our trailer into the parking lot to simplify tomorrow’s departure. We drove into Desert Hot Springs and returned the high speed modem to the local cable company, Time-Warner.

I made one last computer house-call to finish a job I started last week and then I tackled the interior packing of the motorhome. When a Moho is parked in one spot for six months there are a number of things that get relocated to other areas for convenience. I rearranged our box of travel and camping books, put the printer, paper and projector away, all of which have been neatly stashed behind the driver's seat which was turned, facing towards the back of the Moho. I packed up and stashed away our telephones and stored our computer cases and cables. I made a batch of Gazpacho soup for eating tomorrow while we are in transit and then I stashed the blender and kettle. The Moho is as uncluttered as it has been for a long time.

Tonight we went out for dinner with our good friends, Vern and Karolyn, at The Spa Casino and then played a few games, our last for a while before returning to the Moho. It was a good ending to our busy day and we are about as ready as we can be to pull out of here in the morning.

I took this picture yesterday of the office; the three tiny figures on the deck are Marcelino (the park’s bookkeeper), Rick and Dail (our neighbour).
