may 17-07.jpgLast night Rick reinstalled all our satellite TV equipment; moving both PVR’s to one spot and rewiring everything. When we got the Moho back, the sun was shining and appeared as though it might stay that way for a few days, so my industrious Rickey cleaned the car and started polishing the Moho. Not such a great idea.Frown

He did all he could until the sun went down and things cooled off and then he came inside and had supper. Fair enough! After he ate he decided to install the new shelf and attack the wiring job, mistakenly thinking that it would only take him a few minutes. Oops! At 11:33 PM he was finished and we could finally get into bed. (All the work is being done in the bedroom.) Luckily for me, I snoozed for a little while on the couch but it is not the same as my bed so it was not exactly restful. Meanwhile, during the entire process, the skies opened up and it began to rain…again. So much for the polishing!

Because setting an alarm for me means waking up every hour to see what time it is, I opted to take a chance and wake up on our own. At 6:20 AM, my internal alarm went off giving us all of 40 minutes to shower, dress, eat breakfast and put everything away before the work crew came and took our Moho away. Yup, we were rushed and they were on time!

Today we were dragging our butts around and at one point even napped in the car while we waited for the Moho to come back to us. Today Chris and Fred have joined us with their fifth wheel in Amish country and because they were up at 4:00 AM to head here, we will all be in bed early tonight. It’s a pizza at Mancino’s night and with the new PVR equipment on board we can record all our programs while we sleep and catch up on everything after we are more rested.

This is what our Moho looks like right now with the body work well underway. Pretty scary! Oh ya… Rickey is wishing he had forgone the polishing for a day or two!
