We needed to be up by 5:30 AM so I had set the alarm, but like a lot of people, my internal alarm wakes me when I know I have to get up. Likewise Rosanne had been waking up every hour since midnight. Rick and I donned baseball caps because we planned to go back to bed after we got back from taking our friends to the airport. I wasn't looking forward to their departure, as I know how much I will miss my time with Rosanne. Cry Our friendship, though not quite a year old is very special and it makes me understand the term "kindred spirits".

The route to the airport from here is pretty deserted on a Sunday morning at 6:30 AM so it only took us 20 minutes to get there. We hugged each other goodbye and Rick and I headed back to the motorhome. We went back to sleep for a while and puttered around when we got up. We hadn't so much as swept the floor while Rob and Rosanne were with us, so we made today a cleaning day. I decided to do laundry in the laundromat so that it wouldn't be an all day event. We scrubbed and polished, dusted and swept until the place sparkled, at the same time while watching the NASCAR race.

Rob and Rosanne emailed us to say they got home safely though they were greeted by -3C (26F) weather in Toronto. Here it has been much cooler than yesterday, it peaked at 19C (67F), however it was sunny all day. We decided to plan our route west and just as we were sitting down mapping it out, the phone rang. An old friend from Houston called so we are making a detour there before we head west. Tomorrow we are going back over to Buddy Gregg's to have some work completed and then we'll leave Dallas once again... this time for a longer period.
